When your child care provider is suddenly unavailable, and you need temporary care… The answer may be the Emergency Well-Child Care Service, offered at the Spartan Child Development Center
Who is eligible for the Emergency Well-Child Care Service?
Each MSU employee or student is eligible to use this service five days each year (September 1 — August 31) at no charge.
Through an agreement with Michigan State University, Spartan Child Development Center (SCDC) reserves three spaces each day the Center is open to meet the emergency child care needs of University Employees and students.
The service includes use of Spartan Child Development Center's program for children ages one to pre-kindergarten.
A child must be free of communicable disease and capable of participating in regularly planned activities in the classroom.
